The Learning and Change Module provides activities and materials to run a half-day personal development training workshop focusing on change management and using change a positive to influence new ways of thinking.

This module focuses on helping individuals to believe that they can learn - thinking about ways that they've learned in the past and ways that they can continue to learn & change in the future.

Our series of modules focuses on developing capable and effective learners by understanding and strengthening learning skills

Activity Overview

The Learning and Change Module contains practical activities and materials that will help develop strategic thinking and innovation. The module can be carried out by small teams of up to 16 people, who can practice together whilst supported by a facilitator or trainer, and it contains everything required to complete a 2 hour work module on this module.

0 - 5 minutes: Introductions & definitions. Do we believe that we can change and learn?

5 - 10 minutes: Seeing the world differently.

10- 30 minutes: The ‘Challenging Assumptions’ puzzle.

30- 40 minutes: Feelings about learning and changing.

40 - 50 minutes: Recognising the concerns associated with changing and learning.

50 - 60 minutes: Self-talk and visualisation.

60 - 65 minutes: Re-framing.

65 - 75 minutes: Learning Challenge 1. Group Juggling

75 - 80 minutes: Learning Challenge 1 Review.

80 - 100 minutes: Learning Challenge 2. Keypunch

100 - 115 minutes: Learning Challenge 2 Review.

115 - 120 minutes: Summary and learning review
