Activity Overview

The Resilience Module focuses on developing capable and effective learners by understanding the concept of resilience in terms of learning power, and building their capacity to persevere when the learning process becomes difficult, or indeed to recognise that there is an alternative way to proceed.

What do capable learners believe, think and do in order to learn effectively?

They keep trying, accept failure, and are brave. They are persistent and resilient. They work hard, tolerate negative feelings, and enjoy uncertainty.

The module contains practical resilience training activities that small teams (up to 16 people) can practice together, supported by a trainer or facilitator, and everything required to complete a 2-hour Resilience workshop is included.
