Both Workstations and expresspack offer a trainer the opportunity to work creatively and each can be integrated into a variety of programmes, providing opportunities for group interaction. However, they are very different in their design.

Workstations is a team problem solving and information management task, suitable for small groups, which has a set of rules, a recommended process and a correct answer. It comes with a full set of instructions for the trainer and suggestions about how to debrief the activity to ensure maximum learning about communication, teamwork and problem solving skills.
expresspack does not contain a task. It is a set of carefully selected images which are open to individual interpretation and which have been chosen because they trigger an emotional response in the viewer. These images are designed to open discussion and can be used to explore how people are feeling, to explore themes.
E.g. ‘Choose an image which reflects an aspect of leadership’ or ‘Choose an image that represents your team working at its best’
