The Creativity Module provides activities and facilitator materials to run a 2-hour workshop focusing on innovation and creative thinking skills. The module contains all the materials needed to help individuals experiment, take risks and explore playfulness in their thinking.

This module contains two popular and effective RSVP Design activities, Seeing the Point, and Dialoogle 2008 Pocket edition, along with other exercises.

The module can be run independently or in combination with our other six modules focusing on Learning to Learn Skills. All seven modules can be bought as a discounted price here.

Activity Overview

The Creativity Module contains 2 hours’ worth of materials and activities designed to enhance one of the dimensions of learning power, specifically focusing on 'Creativity'.

This module focuses on helping individuals build their skills in being creative, to explore the value of playfulness and a willingness to experiment and to take risks. It contains practical activities that small teams (up to 16 people) can practice together, supported by a trainer or facilitator, and everything required to complete a 2-hour work module on this.

This module is one of seven other modules within our Learning to Learn Module Package about how we, as individuals, advance and strengthen our learning power. Other modules include Learning and Change, Meaning Making, Creativity, Resilience, Learning Preferences, and Learning Support Relationships.

  • 0 - 5 minutes: Introductions + definitions. What do we mean by ‘Creativity’?
  • 5 - 20 minutes: The ‘Alternative Uses’ activity
  • 20 - 35 minutes: The ‘Seeing the Point’ activity
  • 35 - 55 minutes: Allowing yourself to create
  • 55 - 65 minutes: Reflection and awareness
  • 65 - 90 minutes: The ‘Dialoogle’ cards and Metaphors
  • 90 - 115 minutes: Learning like a Child
  • 115 - 120 minutes: Summary and learning review
